About Michael
I am an applied mathematics major at the University of California San Diego. I have always had a love of math, and have had extensive experience teaching math. I tutored individually in high school, and currently work at the UCSD Tutoring Center. I scored an 800 on the math portion of the SAT as well as the Math SAT II subject test.

My teaching method is to listen to the student. Many students think differently, and I customize my lessons to fit each students strength. I push my students to try the problem and try out different methods of explanation, making sure the student understands before moving on.
