About Aseel

Making a decision to learn a new language is bold and admirable! However, sometimes feeling like you are not making progress can set you back and become demotivating. I aspire to keep the flame that drove you to learn a new language burning! I will meet you where you are at and I will make sure I understand your goals before embarking on the journey together.

About the lesson

I like to meet my students where they are at! If you are new to the Arabic language, we will start with the basics: a brief history of the language, introduction to the general form of the language, proper pronunciations of difficult letters, and important first words and phrases to start getting by.

Once my student has a general understanding of Arabic, we begin with a bit more nitty-gritties with an emphasis on the elements the students are most interested in focusing on. For example, if my student's goal is to speak better, then I structure my lesson plans around this goal. If my student would like to read for comprehension, then the lesson plan shifts to meet this goal.

I grew up speaking the language, and enrolled in a few advanced Arabic classes in university. I enjoy reading, writing and speaking Arabic. My love for the language drives my interest and motivation in becoming an Arabic-language tutor.

My lessons are for beginners, intermediaries looking to learn how to read!
