About Khushi

Khushi Anumalla is a dedicated and motivated STEM student at Rutgers University with a strong academic background in mathematics and science. With prior experience as a Kumon Math Instructor, Khushi has worked closely with students to strengthen foundational skills, improve problem-solving abilities, and build lasting academic confidence. Her structured teaching style, combined with patience and clear communication, allows students to feel supported and understood.

In addition to her instructional experience, Khushi brings professionalism, organization, and strong interpersonal skills developed through her healthcare and team-based roles. She is committed to maintaining a respectful, focused, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves. About the lesson

As a tutor, I focus on building strong foundations, confidence, and independent problem-solving skills. With my experience as a former Kumon Math Instructor and current Rutgers University STEM student, I use a structured and step-by-step teaching approach that ensures students truly understand concepts rather than just memorizing formulas. I break down complex topics in mathematics, geometry, science, and precalculus into simple, manageable parts and adapt my explanations to each student’s learning style.

A typical lesson with me begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by guided practice where we solve problems together. I then gradually encourage students to attempt questions independently while I provide support and feedback. I also incorporate real-world examples and analytical thinking techniques to strengthen comprehension.

What sets me apart is my patience, organization, and ability to recognize where students struggle. I create a comfortable environment where questions are encouraged, and mistakes are treated as learning opportunities. My lessons are ideal for middle school and high school students who want to improve grades, prepare for exams, or build a stronger math foundation.
