About Kelly

I'm a friendly experienced teacher who has enjoyed roller skating since... the mid 80's! I'll deliver to you the fundamentals of roller skating (starting, stopping, transitions, balance and posture) as well as levelling your foundation rhythm or dance roller skating moves. About the lesson

SKATE BASE LONDON 8 Week Roller Skating Courses Friday Classes: 5pm-6.30pm - Complete Beginners 6.30pm-8pm - Rhythm/Dance Skating Where: Westbourne Community Centre, Roman Way, N7 8XF (5 mins walk from Caledonian road tube station & 10 mins from Highbury & Islington). How much is it? £130.00 8 week course £20.00 drop in sessions These are group sessions. £23 p/m via the skating app (most people have learnt to roller skate using the app if they aren't able to attend an in-house class. Others have, you can too! Just download the 'Skate Base London' app via Google or Apple stores. If you complete the 6 week beginners course, you will learn to roller skate. You just need to begin!).

I’ve only had a couple of lessons but was amazed at what could be achieved in a short space of time once you get some confidence. I was going backwards! Never expected to be able to do that. Well pleased with myself! Practice is the key but if you’re thinking about doing it go for it Never too late. I’m 68!
