About Max
I have always been a strong student and family-oriented person. The oldest of 4 children, I have been a role model to my younger triplet siblings and would like to think I've taught them well. Thanks to a demanding yet brilliant Spanish teacher in high school as well as years of working with Latino cooks in restaurants, I have come to love language as something that can build bridges out of thin air. Continuing my studies at Penn State I have continued to refine my abilities in higher-level classes covering topics ranging from linguistics, translation, and Hispanic influences in the US.

I would love to share my knowledge of the Spanish language with younger students. I am a student myself, and I understand the frustrations some students have when trying to learn Spanish from teachers who are much older than them.
Everyone is different, and I would work to identify areas of improvement and target those specifically, as well as share things I've learned that help with sounding more like a native speaker.
