Hi! I’m Riley, a bilingual tutor in English and Mandarin with experience teaching Grade 12 math and a Master of Architecture from the University of Toronto. My lessons are designed for high school students who want to build a strong understanding of math and logic.
A typical lesson begins with explaining formula basics, followed by guided problem solving. We then move on to advanced questions, critical thinking, and mathematical proofs to deepen understanding.
What sets me apart is my focus on helping students see how math connects to real life, such as budgeting, compound interest, and logical decision-making. My goal is to make math clear, practical, and enjoyable while helping students gain confidence and think independently.
