I am a retired teacher with experience teaching English in national type and national primary schools in Malaysia. I am also experienced in teaching phonics to young children to enable them to master reading. I have been successful in helping children facing problems in reading acquire the skills they need to read.

I have taught English to primary school students who are exceptionally good in their English to students who struggle to learn to speak and read. I believe every child is able to learn the language if the method of teaching is student centered with opportunities to practice the language.
