About Elma

I have been teaching for 30 years in the intermediate phase, all subjects. Was selected to be a lead teacher for Life Skills and Afrikaans but I chose Life Skills. After retirement I was on a contract basis at different schools. My last contract was for a year and a half at Silverstream School of Skills in Manenburg Cape Town.

About the lesson

My teaching methods are direct as well as interactive to involve students in the learning process. my classes I base on workshops I attended to improve my skills of teaching and I approach each topic from the known to the unknown. I make use of the internet and links where students can go to, to enhance and further their knowledge.
