About Michael
For more than 20 years I was a high school mathematics teacher, as well as, an individual math tutor. That experience has given me great insight into how and why students learn at different levels. I also worked as a member of my school's professional special education development team. My tutoring methods are designed around the philosophy that any curriculum can be adapted to each individual learner. Tutoring is a fantastic opportunity to help students achieve success!

The ability to understand and apply basic skills ( addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) is the first step to being successful at every level of mathematics. Students will learn to apply these skills to every separate math concept. Teaching them to take apart a complex problem and turn it into more easily understood pieces. My goal is to simplify mathematics and show students there is a path to being successful at every level.
