Debbie was my teacher for many years initially as my primary teacher from 1st to 3rd grade and then later as the theater lead teacher.
When I first started in Debbie's class I was having behavioral problems and learning problems (and the two were probably related). I was later diagnosed with dyslexia and had supplemental support from an occupational therapist. At the time, Debbie was incredibly patient, loving, and understanding. She helped me learn to love reading and learning despite my challenges. Over time, I went from being the most challenging student to class valedictorian.
I love Debbie and am so grateful to her. Anyone would be lucky to work with her.
