About Mavis
I am an experienced tutor with over 6 years of teaching Mathematics to high school students. I hold a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics. I focus on IB and A-Level preparation. These exams require both skill and confidence. I help students develop both.
I emphasize conceptual clarity in all lessons. Understanding is the key to success. I teach multiple problem-solving approaches. This helps students think critically. It also improves exam performance.
Past paper practice is a central part of my teaching. It prepares students for real exam situations. Practice builds confidence and accuracy. My key areas are Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics. I simplify complex topics.
