About Elina
I have over 3 years of teaching experience and hold a Bachelor of Science in Audio Engineering with a guitar focus. I love exploring jazz and blues improvisation and helping students discover their own musical voice. Lessons are supportive, engaging, and tailored to each student’s goals.
I specialize in modal scales, arpeggios, dominant seventh theory, and bebop phrasing. Together, we work on developing a unique improvisational style that combines technique with musicality.
I’ve taught students from intermediate to advanced levels, including those preparing for professional gigs. Every lesson is an opportunity to explore creativity and build confidence on the guitar.

My teaching focuses on helping guitarists become confident readers of both standard notation and tablature. Lessons cover rhythm notation, sight-reading exercises, and techniques for interpreting music accurately. Learning is systematic and builds strong reading skills step by step.
I work with classical purists and jazz explorers alike, tailoring lessons to suit their musical goals. Students practice reading exercises that connect directly to pieces they enjoy.
Through guided practice and feedback, learners develop fluency in reading music. The aim is to unlock the ability to approach any repertoire with confidence.
