About Kylan

I am an enthusiastic ESL tutor with 6 years of experience working with High School and College students. Teaching English gives me the opportunity to help students move from basic understanding to confident communication.

During my teaching journey, I have taught between 150 and 200 students. A key milestone in my career has been helping students improve from beginner or intermediate levels to confidently using English in exams, presentations, and discussions.

My lessons focus on building strong foundations. I give importance to grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure while also encouraging speaking and writing practice. I keep explanations simple and lessons easy to follow.

I adapt my teaching style based on each student’s needs and pace. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning and improving without pressure.

My passion for education motivates me to guide students patiently and positively. I aim to help learners feel confident and capable in using English for academic and real-life purposes.

About the lesson

I teach ESL using real-life examples and case studies to make English practical and easy to apply. My approach is student-centred, focusing on each learner’s needs, pace, and interests. Motivation is a core part of my teaching—I encourage students to set goals, track progress, and stay confident. Problem-solving exercises help learners develop critical thinking and apply English creatively.

I teach with integrity, giving honest feedback and fostering a respectful learning environment. Flexibility allows me to adjust lessons according to individual strengths and challenges. Besides ESL, I can teach grammar, writing, reading comprehension, and conversational skills. My goal is to help students gain confidence, independence, and language skills that are useful in real life.
