About Liora
With 4 years of Guitar teaching experience and around 300 students successfully trained, I bring a calm, patient, and structured approach to music education. I work with High School learners, College students, and adult beginners who want to explore guitar in a simple and meaningful way. I believe learning music should be a positive experience filled with growth and creativity. My teaching philosophy is based on clarity, consistency, and encouragement. I start with the fundamentals—proper posture, smooth chord switching, clean strumming, rhythm control, and finger exercises. I slowly introduce melody work and simple theory to help students understand notes, scales, and progressions. This step-by-step approach helps learners stay confident as they improve. One of my achievements is seeing my students participate in college fests, open-mic sessions, and school performances. Many learners who once doubted themselves now enjoy playing songs on their own. Their journey reminds me of the importance of patience and dedication in teaching. My lessons are flexible and adapted to each student’s interests. I use easy explanations, practical demos, and familiar songs to make the learning process enjoyable. My goal is to help every learner discover confidence, creativity, and joy through the guitar.

My teaching approach for Guitar is based on communication, adaptability, and connecting lessons to real-life musical situations. I believe learning guitar should feel enjoyable and achievable, so I design lessons that follow the student’s pace while pushing them gently towards improvement. I begin by teaching essential guitar skills like chord transitions, strumming, rhythm accuracy, hand posture, and picking control. As students develop stronger basics, we explore more advanced skills such as scales, fingerstyle methods, improvisation, harmony awareness, and genre-based techniques. I use real-life musical examples to explain each concept and show how musicians apply these skills in songs and performances. Case studies from professional guitarists help students understand how techniques evolve and how they can use them creatively. I also teach related subjects like Basic Music Theory, Songwriting Elements, Ear Training, Chord Building, Rhythm Studies, and Tablature Reading. These subjects help students become well-rounded musicians who understand the language of music deeply. Communication is at the core of my teaching. I encourage students to express their music preferences, strengths, and challenges. I then adapt my lessons according to their learning style—whether they prefer visual explanations, listening exercises, or step-by-step practice. Each lesson includes practical exercises, clear instructions, weekly targets, and constructive feedback. My goal is to guide students towards becoming confident guitar players who enjoy learning and feel inspired by their musical growth.
