About Jacob
I am a university student studying for a Masters in exploration and resource geology, this is my first time as an official tutor but I have ample experience teaching fellow students and younger siblings topics relating to geology and geography.

As a teacher, I have a very relaxed teaching style and aim to not create a pressurized atmosphere, which can allow a student to grow at their own pace. My teaching method is largely visually based using diagrams, graphs, pictures, videos and models to explore each topic. Each class will be approached with a general overview of the topic followed by a step by step learning experience which will help build an overall understanding. The classes are largely based on syllabus content to give the best understanding of a topic at the relevant level. Each class will end with a past paper question on the material covered to give you the best chance of passing the exam!
Overall I aim to support a student's academic needs by teaching students how to practice and prepare for exams and assessed content.
