My Approach as a Public Speaking Tutor

Teaching Methodology and Techniques:
I believe in a hands-on, personalized approach to teaching public speaking. My sessions are focused on building confidence, connecting with the audience, and delivering impactful messages. I emphasize practical exercises, such as impromptu speeches, role-playing, and audience engagement techniques. My style leans toward slideless speaking—more like a TED Talk—where the focus is on storytelling, vocal modulation, and body language to captivate the audience.

A Typical Lesson Plan:

Introduction and Warm-Up:
A short discussion on your goals and experiences with public speaking.
Quick exercises to break the ice and ease into speaking.
Skill Development:
Techniques to overcome stage fright and stay composed.
Strategies for organizing thoughts and structuring speeches.
Practical exercises tailored to your specific needs (e.g., debates, elocutions, or presentations).
Practice and Feedback:
Delivering a short talk or response, with constructive feedback on strengths and areas to improve.
Audience Engagement:
Tips for connecting with the audience, handling questions, and leaving a lasting impression.
Wrap-Up and Homework:
Summary of key takeaways.
Personalized exercises to practice between sessions.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor:
I don’t just teach public speaking—I live it. As someone deeply passionate about it, I’ve spent over 10 years honing the art of speaking without relying on slides, focusing instead on genuine connection and engagement. My sessions are highly interactive, ensuring that you not only learn the techniques but also gain the confidence to implement them. I adapt my teaching to each individual's needs, making the process enjoyable and transformative.

Who the Lessons Are For:
Everyone! Whether you’re a student preparing for debates or elocutions, a professional looking to enhance workplace presentations, or someone wanting to improve their communication skills, my lessons are designed to meet your needs. Age, background, or level of experience doesn’t matter—if you want to find your voice, I’m here to guide you.
