About the lesson

Everyone knows the AI/ML, but their understanding is different.

(A) LLM consists of transformer, which includes the idea of Key, Query, Value in Computer Science, Vector analysis, also Hardware optimization, etc.

(B) Diffusion from Non-equilibrium Thermodynamics, and Distortion-Rate Theory.

As the examples, AI/ML looks simple at first glance, but their idea came from various matured fields!

To become a specialist of AI/ML, and understand the paper fully as the author, one should figure out the hidden ideas from paper that nobody gives hints.

I will give the Machine learning / AI tutoring along the history of AI with essential paper. Their formulation might look difficult; However the Intuition is simple and straightforward.

I have Advantage:
(A) understanding of background of AI research: Information Theory, Signal Processing, Machine learning (achieve A+ or A0)

(B) Physics, Chemistry, Math (essential field) 2nd ranked in science high school for gifted in South Korea.
(One may know the academic level, competition of South Korea, which is extremely high)

All schedule will be customized for student, if you need I can co-work with AI project, and assignments.

Basic Framework:
1. start of AI: Universal Approximator, MLP, Informatic Entropy
2. rising of AI: VGG, ResNet, LSTM, Transformer, CBAM, VAE
3. expand of AI: Graph NN, Diffusion, Flow-matching, NF, SimCLR
4. massive scale of AI: Foundation models, LLM, VLM logic explanation
5. future of AI: Robotics(VLA), World model, Ego-centric

Papers from 1980, toward 2025, and 2026 newly paper reviews.
Explain with intuition, and deeply analyze the setting, formulas, philosophy of the paper.
