About Sumedini
I completed my Master of Science in Biochemistry in 2021 and qualified the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) in Life Sciences conducted by the University of Mysore. I gained teaching experience as a Part-Time Faculty at Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous, Bengaluru, and as a Full-Time Guest Faculty in the Department of Studies in Biochemistry, University of Mysore, where I served for two years. Following this, I worked as a Project Assistant on a research project funded by DST-SERB, New Delhi. I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Biochemistry under the guidance of Prof. K. Kemparaju, focusing on advanced research in the field.

My goal is to inspire curiosity, foster critical thinking, and simplify complex concepts so that students develop a strong foundation in Biochemistry. Each class will run for one hour, during which I will focus on clear explanations and interactive discussions. To encourage active learning, students will be given a set of puzzles or problem-based questions at the end of the session, reinforcing the concepts covered. Class timings will be scheduled flexibly according to students’ convenience, and the sessions will be open to learners ranging from school level to postgraduate studies.
