About Tinotenda
I am a chemical engineering graduate, and a current MSc student. I love science subjects and have a pretty good understanding of them from first principles. I have a younger sibling in their GCSE year, and helping her with school work has made me realise my passion for helping younger learners.
I have learnt to explain science concepts in simplified ways that textbooks and teachers sometimes do not. I enjoy exploring various learning techniques with students, to help them discover which ones are the best fit for them.

I believe every student is capable of achieving good grades. Sometimes students have simply not discovered the learning and study methods which work best for them.I spend the first couple of days of lessons exposing students to various learning and study techniques. From this, a student can identify which methods work best for them.
I strive to make lessons exciting for learners by incorporating various teaching methods, such as short videos, flashcards, and teaching the tutor, just to name a few. I also incorporate several tests and past paper exercises with common misconceptions fr students.
