About Anne

I am a dedicated Spanish tutor with 13+ years of experience teaching High School and College students. During my teaching career, I have successfully guided around 150 students towards improving their language skills and achieving better academic results.

I enjoy helping students discover that learning Spanish is not only useful but also enjoyable. My goal is to create lessons that are easy to understand, interactive, and focused on each student's individual learning needs.

My teaching philosophy is based on patience, consistency, and positive encouragement. I believe every student learns at a different pace, so I adapt my lessons to match their strengths and areas that need improvement. My classes cover grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking through practical activities and meaningful conversations. I encourage students to participate actively because confidence grows through regular practice.

To make learning interesting, I use stories, role-playing, quizzes, visual materials, and real-life examples that help students understand how Spanish is used in everyday situations. I also include cultural discussions to make lessons more engaging and to give students a broader understanding of the language.

One of my greatest achievements has been helping around 150 students become more confident learners while improving their grades and communication skills. Watching students reach their goals gives me great satisfaction and motivates me to continue growing as an educator.

My mission is to provide every student with a positive learning experience that builds confidence, develops strong Spanish language skills, and creates a lifelong interest in learning.

About the lesson

My Spanish teaching methodology emphasises building a strong foundation while fostering curiosity and confidence. Accountability encourages students to take responsibility for their learning, set achievable goals, and reflect on progress regularly.

I uphold Integrity, ensuring that instruction is honest, fair, and tailored to each student’s needs. Through Flexibility, I adjust lesson plans, materials, and techniques to suit individual learning styles and goals, making every session effective and engaging.

Communication is at the heart of my teaching; I create opportunities for conversation, feedback, and active participation so that students can practise real-life Spanish confidently. I maintain a Positive environment, celebrating achievements, motivating learners, and turning challenges into opportunities for growth.

Additionally, I integrate complementary subjects like grammar, vocabulary, literature, and cultural studies, which deepen understanding and provide practical context. My goal is to help students gain fluency, enjoy the learning process, and develop a lasting appreciation for the Spanish language.
