Very relaxed, informal and unflappable person Love to help people develop and grow Patient and considerate but also expect anyone who embarks on a journey with me to do the work I have taught and mentored in the military and in business with great success Thirty years International Business experience so not only real life but understand the nuances of teaching in someone's second language Teaching those at University, seeking guidance with your first job, while also offering mentor services for those in management roles. BSc(HONS) Environmental Science, Vocational Masters in Engineering Management and MBA from Cranfield. More important than badges etc is actual business experience over 30 years.

Free 30-minute trial to discuss your needs and the direction of the tuition. Very open, peer-to-peer and two-way communication. I can tailor my teaching/guidance to your individual circumstance, be that your first business assignment out of high school, or the final submission of your MBA. Paul has really helped me identify a lot of setbacks within my own businesses that I never caught myself, his guidance has been invaluable.

I can understand someone having the impression that a tutor of this type might be a bit cold, but Paul is quite the opposite, even when we weren’t on the same page he was compassionate and patient.

His employment/education history speaks for itself, but his experience as a non exec/consultant really lends itself to anyone looking to better their own business.

Can’t recommend him enough!

1) When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?
I have always enjoyed mentoring, something I have done for over 20 years, so it was a natural step to then consider a tutoring /mentoring relationship. That is what I do, it is not school, I tutor but also push you to consider what you actually know already.
2) Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).
Real world business studies, learned from an MBA but more importantly from operating in over 30 countries around the globe. Particular love for Strategy and Change Leadership.
3) Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?
Tough one, maybe Rudi Giuliani, a get stuff done attitude backed with a great mind.
4) What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?
Listening, patience and empathy.
5) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.
Life is filled with drains and radiators - choose where you want to be next to.
6) What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?
Constant change, often incomplete change, Whilst we have to change to evolve, we have to see things through to see if they successful or not.
