About Kieran
By trade I am a systems analyst dedicated to project management in IT for a major hospital system. I grew up in a very American family with no Spanish experience as a kid. I did an exchange year at SYA Spain after 2 years of high school Spanish and that enriched my appreciation and capacity for the language greatly! I started out with Pimsleur and Rosetta Stone, school classes, and just figured it out. I think Spanish is my best friend- it has opened so many doors and even facilitated meeting my wife who is Colombian. Give it a try and learn the language- I’m a walking example that studying hard and practicing can make it happen!
