About Trisha

I am a registered nurse in the United States as well as in the Philippines. I have gained over 6 years of experience in primarily intensive care nursing at Level I and Level II trauma centers. My main specialty is neuro-critical care. I am also a former travel nurse, which helped me gain experience in other intensive care areas such as medical, surgical, trauma, and cardiac. I also have experience working in medical surgical units as well as step-down/intermediate care units. I have served as a preceptor for both new graduates and experienced nurses onboarding in my specific units. Currently, I am a neuro-critical care staff nurse at a Level I trauma center.

About the lesson

I tailor my tutoring methods based on your learning needs. Together we will go over your preferred learning methods and what subjects you require tutoring. I will tailor lessons to the best of my ability to help you succeed and understand what is being taught. At the end of each session, I am open to further clarifications on the subject at hand as well as feedback for future tutoring sessions. I am here to help YOU succeed! I specialize in subjects primarily in fundamentals, medical-surgical nursing, pharmacology, nursing ethics, and gerontological care. My expertise is based primarily in adult populations, however if you require tutoring in pediatric or maternal-child care I am more than willing to help! Additionally, I can tailor my tutoring sessions for NCLEX preparation.

I do not charge an extra fee for online tutoring however I do charge a flat travel fee for tutoring at a student’s home or at any public area (for gas, etc.)
