About Morgan
Hi, I’m Morgan, a Registered Nurse and Clinical Educator with 20 years of nursing experience across clinical practice, public health, vaccination, sexual health and health education.
If you’re a nursing student feeling overwhelmed by an upcoming OSCA/OSCE, struggling to understand clinical reasoning, or staring at an assignment wondering where to start, I can help you break it down into something manageable.
I particularly enjoy helping students connect the theory they learn at university with what actually happens in clinical practice. For OSCA/OSCE preparation, we can work through realistic scenarios, practise your clinical reasoning and communication, and focus on how to confidently explain what you are doing and, importantly, why you are doing it. I want you to understand the process rather than simply memorise a script.
I can also help with nursing assignments, literature reviews, academic writing, research methods and public health. I have completed a Bachelor of Nursing and Graduate Diploma in Child & Youth Health and am currently completing a Master of Public Health, so I understand the demands of postgraduate study as well as undergraduate nursing.
My teaching style is relaxed, practical and supportive. I won't make you feel silly for asking a question, and I won't just give you the answer and send you on your way. We'll work out what you're struggling with, find a way to make it click, and build your confidence so you can tackle the next one yourself.
Whether you need a one-off session before an OSCA, help getting an assignment started, or ongoing support throughout your nursing degree, I'm happy to tailor sessions around what you actually need.

I've completed postgraduate study myself, including a Master of Public Health, so I know how frustrating it can be when you understand the topic but aren't sure how to turn that knowledge into the response your university is looking for.

My tutoring style
I don't believe tutoring should be someone talking at you for an hour.
We'll work out what you already know, where you're getting stuck and what you need to do next.
Sessions can include teaching, worked examples, practice questions, mock OSCA/OSCE scenarios, assignment planning or feedback, depending on what you need.
My goal is for you to finish a session thinking:
"I actually understand this now, and I know how to approach it myself."
I work with nursing students at different stages of their degree, from students who are completely overwhelmed by their first assessments through to students preparing for major clinical or practical assessments.
