About Bradley

I started playing a few years before social media took off (what a time to be alive), and it feels more important now than ever to be able to have a creative outlet as crazy and fun as the drums to focus on rather than scrolling endlessly. My passion is in rock music, as that is what inspired me to play in the first place. I am a very patient person, which definitely comes through in my lessons, and I have to give a lot of credit for that to learning the drums myself over the two-plus decades I have been playing. I am also a guitar player, which helps in lessons once the student has enough confidence to then start working at playing along with another musician, simulating the band experience.

About the lesson

Lets be honest, drummers are having the most fun on stage!
With my lessons I attempt to translate as much of that into a lesson format as I can. The best drummers in the world can make it look very easy, my approach is focused mostly on learning songs which will hopefully help you achieve that feeling you see on stage.

Here are a few areas of drumming I like to focus on;
- Stick control / I still drop sticks and you will too! I can teach you the art of recovering....
- Timing / We are the time keepers of the band!
- Song structure / Verse-Chorus-Verse-Chorus-Solo-Chorus-End!
- Drum fills / How to mess with the singer....

I have over 5 years of teaching experience and can cater for all ages and playing abilities. My lessons typically run for 45 minutes.
