About Taylor
I spent 2 years teaching English to people in Japan where I was able to cultivate the necessary skills required to be an effective teacher. I also had the opportunity to sometimes teach Japanese to foreigners living in Japan. I am currently 21 years old and I am studying Computer Science in college! I love to go hiking, be outdoors, and play sports!

After living in Japan for two years, I understand how frustrating it can be to grasp the grammar and vocabulary, yet still struggle to hold a real conversation or understand native speakers. That’s why I focus on practical, realistic conversations—ones you're likely to have with native Japanese speakers.
I customize each lesson based on your goals—whether you're preparing to travel, looking to use Japanese professionally, watching anime, or something else entirely. Whatever your reason for learning, I’d love to support you on your language journey!
If you're interested, feel free to reach out! I offer a free first lesson so we can see if my lessons are a good fit for you.
