About Clare
I graduated from the University of Waterloo with a BMath. I taught 18+ years in Milton and 15 years in Burlington teaching Math, Accounting, Economics and Canadian Law. (Mostly Math). I was voted teacher of the year by my school’s student council just before I switched schools. I play the piano and enjoy gardening. I’m married with 3 step-sons and 9 grandchildren. I volunteer at my local High school (at least until the lockdowns) helping with Math at lunchtime and at Ontario Christian Gleaners cutting donated vegetables.

I’ve been tutoring 3 or 4 students in-person each semester until Covid. Then I switched to on-line. Some students have returned for a second year because they said I explained it well. I have been recommended by practicing math teachers because they know I am good at explaining. I especially enjoy trigonometry.
