About Anna
As a current high school English teacher, I spend every day working with students on reading and writing skills. I have worked with students with a wide range of abilities, from an early elementary to college reading level. As a Yale graduate and a lover of all things English, I am highly qualified to teach you or your student!
In addition, I scored a 36 (a perfect score) on the ACT when I took it for the first (and only) time in high school, with zero professional test preparation help. As a Yale grad, I know firsthand how important standardized testing is for getting where you want to be after high school.

As a current high school English teacher, my lessons are best for middle or high school students. I am happy to work with students on any English skills, from essay writing to close reading skills. I design a wide variety of lessons for my English students and my lessons are challenging and interactive.
In addition, I am happy to offer ACT prep for high school students. ACT prep sessions will be specifically tailored to the individual student's needs, as assessed by a practice exam.
