About Ali

Hello! I'm Ali, a UCLA Cognitive Science graduate, passionate about empowering students through education. My academic background uniquely combines psychology, neuroscience, and computer science, providing me with a deep understanding of diverse learning styles, especially beneficial for neurodivergent students.

I am going to begin my technology consulting career in October of 2024 - and in the meantime I will be tutoring in math, science, english, and history for middle school and high school students through superprof!

The main part of the lesson involves interactive learning, where I explain concepts, demonstrate problems, and engage students in problem-solving activities. I use real-world examples to make the material relatable and easier to grasp. The session concludes with a summary of what was learned and a preview of the next topic, along with personalized homework assignments to reinforce the day's learning.

What truly sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to make learning fun and less stressful. My approachable demeanor and passion for teaching create a positive and encouraging learning environment. I am committed to not just teaching academic content but also to boosting my students' confidence and interest in the subject.
