Professional Development: My experience with the Government Legal Department's Diversity Summer Scheme gave me valuable exposure to real-world legal practice, including policy-making, government litigation, and working alongside senior legal professionals. This practical insight enhances my ability to explain how legal concepts apply in practice. Through my role as a Student Content Creator, I developed strong communication abilities, learning to explain complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Unlike tutors who passed their qualifications years ago, my recent exam success means I have fresh, current knowledge of exam formats, question styles, and marking criteria. About the lesson

Having recently passed both SQE1 (January 2025) and SQE2 (April/May 2025) on my first attempts, I understand the challenges students face with these demanding exams. My approach is entirely student-centred, adapting to each individual's learning style and specific needs. Each lesson focuses on one SQE1 subject area (either black letter law or practice-based topics) to ensure deep understanding. I tailor my teaching method to suit each student's preferences, whether they learn best through: - Working through practice questions with detailed explanations - Comprehensive concept explanations using study manuals - Interactive discussion of complex legal principles - Exam technique refinement and strategic approaches Lesson Duration: Sessions are typically 60 minutes, allowing sufficient time for thorough exploration of topics while maintaining focus and engagement. SQE2 Preparation: For SQE2 candidates, I offer specialised mock advocacy sessions and interview practice, drawing from my recent exam experience to provide realistic preparation for the practical assessments. Exam Guidance: Beyond subject content, I provide detailed explanations of the entire SQE examination process, including exam structure, marking criteria, and strategic approaches to maximise performance under pressure. My lessons are designed for aspiring solicitors preparing for SQE1 and SQE2 examinations, regardless of their background - whether they are law graduates, conversion course students, or career changers entering the legal profession. As a recent successful candidate with fresh exam experience, I offer current insights into exam expectations and proven revision strategies that led to my first-time success across both qualification stages.
