About Jerrica
Hi! I’m Jerrica, and to tell you why I want to teach I need to tell you a story. Back in 2015 when I started my A level in sociology, I managed to get a personal tutor who changed my life. She taught sociology with such passion and excitement that it inspired me to do my degree. My aim is to teach in a way that makes others feel that excitement.I believe it is essential to our world, Sociology gives an explanation for the unexplainable. While I have little formal experience tutoring, I know from experience that you retain much more information when you enjoy it, so that is my aim. To spark passion in students.

Typical Lesson length 45 mins - hour, dependent on what the tutee wants teaching. Experience helping younger years when needed during college. I believe that everyone has their own pace to learning and I will work with you to find yours. Aim to make teaching fun and interactive, related to the real world. Techniques will differ depending on the student as everyone learns differently. Can tutor students at KS3, GCSE or A Level. Maximum age for tutees is 25,as I recognise some may go into learning at a later age. But ideally I would be teaching those between 14-18.
