About Evie
Hi! I’m Evie. I’m 21 years old and have recently finished my degree in university for a primary teacher. I’m not quite ready to have a class of my own yet so I’m looking to tutor some eager students and help them in any way I can! I promise I’m a fun teacher but also expect some high quality concentration and listen skills when in my lessons, I absolutely love teaching and find it extremely rewarding just as I hope my future students find my tutoring rewarding!

The main objective for this tutoring service is to give the child the confidence in a subject where they don’t feel like they are succeeding. I will do this in an encouraging and fun way. I always like to try different methods of learning and seeing which way they absorb information best. I’m overly qualified, being a graduate in primary education this year, for ages 3-7 but I am also qualified to teach up to year 6. Length of lessons can be flexible and range from 30 minutes to 1:30 hours. I believe shorter bursts and repetition is the best way for children to retain knowledge so shorter, more frequent lessons would be preferred.
