About Livi
I am a Sociology Graduate student based in Edinburgh. I've got lots of experience in teaching (not just tutoring).
My passion for history in particular has gone on since I was around 7 years old and absolutely adore teaching it.

I take a pretty personal approach so the first meeting I sit down with students to discuss which areas they think need work, which the parents/teachers think need work and how they learn best. This means that each lesson plan is created around that particular person and how they learn best so to make the most out of sessions. I firmly believe that adding more stress is not going to help learn. I usually use a mix of practical use of documents for writing where we can both add stuff, PowerPoint presentations outlining information, talking through answers and questions. But of course this is all subjective to the student and can vary.
