About Michael
With 10 years of experience as an engineer and project manager, I bring real-world insight, professionalism, and reliability to every session. I’ve tutored undergraduate math and physics and served as a teaching assistant for Physics I and II. I’m hard-working, responsive, and always prepared. I adapt my teaching to each student’s needs, using clear explanations and real-world examples. Lesson plans will vary with the subject matter and student, but they typically consist of setting goals and defining how we will reach a better understanding of the underlying concepts. I specialize in supporting high school and early college students in all introductory math classes up through Calc II. I feel confident teaching any physics class up through an undergraduate degree. What sets me apart is my experience tutoring and teaching at the undergraduate level, as well as my ability to simplify complex ideas.
