About Oliver
Hey there! I'm Ollie and I recently graduated from University of Birmingham with a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering which means I'm a bit of a maths, chemistry and physics geek. I'm fairly new to academic tutoring but I have taught sports to a high level throughout my teenage years in groups and 1 to 1 sessions who have gone onto become very successful athletes! I run my own young people's mental wellbeing charity and fully understand the stresses of school, college and university. But having emerged the other side equipped with a degree and some work experience I hope I can provide you with some knowledge, encouragement and inspiration to go onto achieve much more than just a grade in an exam.

For GCSE and A-level students I can provide Physics, Chemistry and Maths tutoring and tailor the sessions to meet your needs exactly! We'll start off by running over your syllabus and scoring each topic with a mark out of 5 depending on your confidence in the subject - then we'll hit the ground running. I'll aim to make the lessons as interesting as possible using videos and demonstrations where appropriate to breakdown the problem and simplify it so you're no longer scratching your head. I'll also introduce you to a few case studies for some inspiration and encouragement. After each session I'll set you a worksheet with some unique and interesting questions and we'll discuss how you got on and the beginning of the successive session. At the end of the course we'll review the syllabus once more to check if there's any outstanding gaps we can fill in!
