About Mrs Afolabi
As the editor-in-chief of a magazine for over twenty years, I have proofread and edited hundreds of articles. Strong reading and comprehension skills are a must-have for an editor. I passed all college-level English courses with A's and B's. I tutor elementary, middle, and high school students while subbing for countless Reading and English teachers in the public school system. I'm also a member of SIGMA ALPHA PI, a national honor society. I was inducted based on a recommendation for my academic achievements and being on the honor roll with a 3.67 GPA.

There are no two students alike, so my goal is to learn what the students need and, from there, personalize their learning objectives. I develop fun phonics exercises to teach reading or use journal exercises to help improve writing and grammar skills. A typical lesson plan will include a review of the student's homework and assistance with challenges related to their assignments. The second half of the lessons involve learning objectives related to the subject the student needs tutoring in.
