About Jennifer
Let's work together to help your kids shine in their schoolwork and develop a lifelong love of reading! With my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a specialization in Early Childhood Development, I have concentrated my 30 years of teaching on finding a remedy for the struggles that children face in reading. My passion lies in helping children develop an earnest love of reading, and in doing so, they are able to overcome their reading problems, gain confidence, and become fluent readers that shine in their schoolwork and through life!

I have a passion for teaching and particularly for helping children overcome their struggles in reading, gaining confidence in reading, and developing a lifelong love of reading! I strive to have an excellent rapport with children, parents, and your child's school teachers. I believe that using real books, making learning fun, complying with Florida's B.E.S.T. state standards, and having full-circle communication with all those involved in your elementary kids' education will strengthen their reading competency and inspire a sincere love of reading that lasts a lifetime. My teaching experience of 30 years includes public schools, private schools, and homeschool groups, working with children of all ages.
Using a comprehensive assessment program, I will create a personalized reading plan that will focus on the reading skills necessary to keep your kids engaged and learning. Unlike most tutoring services, I use a combination of a language arts, phonics, & literary analysis program, along with real, award-winning books to develop a lifelong love of reading!
