About Clara

I am a dedicated and experienced elementary teacher with 25 years of teaching Grade 1 learners, including students in Special Science Classes. Throughout my career, I have developed effective strategies for helping young children build strong foundations in reading, comprehension, vocabulary, pronunciation, and communication.

My teaching approach is patient, structured, and learner-centered. I understand that every child has a different learning pace, so I adjust my lessons according to each student’s needs, strengths, and areas for improvement. I use phonics, sight words, guided reading, storytelling, picture clues, repetition, educational games, and interactive exercises to make learning clear, enjoyable, and meaningful.

A typical lesson includes a short review, the introduction of a new skill, guided practice, independent reading activities, comprehension questions, and a brief assessment. I also provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help students become more confident and independent learners.

What sets me apart is my extensive classroom experience and my ability to identify reading difficulties early. I simplify lessons, provide step-by-step guidance, and create a supportive environment where children feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.

My lessons are designed for children aged 6 to 11 years old, including beginners, struggling readers, and learners who want to improve their reading fluency, comprehension, pronunciation, vocabulary, and confidence. About the lesson
