About Jamie

HELLO, my name is Jamie Ann 

I MAKE LEARNING EASY AND FUN!

I am here to help you speak with confidence and express yourself clearly. I will teach you English Expressions such as IDIOMS, PHRASAL VERBS, and HOW TO BECOME MORE FLUENT IN ENGLISH.

I am a certified TEFL/TESOL teacher with more than 5 years of part time tutoring/teaching and training experience as well as over 2 years full time online teaching experience. I am well travelled with a variety of interests and experiences which has enabled me to understand various cultures and appreciate individual differences. I identify your needs and requirements easily and adjust my teaching style to suit you. I am a native English speaker and currently teach various different Nationalities. I love helping you find your own English voice. I am very flexible and willing to work with you and will find interesting ways in which to ensure your lessons are always engaging. I believe if you enjoy what you are doing, you won’t get tired of doing it. This is the reason I have gone into teaching full time. I love it!

Your learning experience with me will be easy, enjoyable and most of all you will reach your ENGLISH goals in no time!

It is for people who are learning English and who are interested in developing English language skills in the workplace. This helps job seekers and young professionals with the English they need to further their prospects.

English for beginners
Everyone has to start somewhere, and that somewhere is the beginning.
These lessons are Fun and engaging. I give you home training tasks along with each lesson which allows you to progress at your own speed. I will ensure your gain the most out of each lesson as possible. Your lessons will be tailored as much as possible to suit your interests as I have found makes it easier to learn.

20th Centry English
I can teach you about up to date English Expressions, I do not simply focus on outdated English expression like most tutors. You will be surprised at how easy it is to learn day to day English.

Vocal Clarity English
These lessons focus on how you pronounce and the clarity you use to get your message and meaning across in English. We work on simple clarity of sounds and words and structuring your sentence in such a way which allows for complete understanding. These lessons are also designed to ensure you don’t have misunderstandings when you interact in English.

English for kids
I have been tutoring, training and teaching for more than 5 years, 2 of which has been online. I make the lessons fun and engaging. I structure my lessons for kids in such a way that encourages maximum verbal interaction in English and also provide additional materials at no cost for kids to do fun activities in between lessons. I work with any level from beginners to advanced and find helping children to become more confident and fluent as they grow. Most importantly I make sure they enjoy the lessons so they want to learn more! Teaching English to kids requires patience which luckily I have . I make use many props, toys, and other visual things to help keep students engaged and use a visual rewards system to motivate kids.

English job interview prep
In job interview preparation lessons I will prepare you for your job interview by asking you a variety of questions which will ensure you are not flustered or nervous for your big day. I will teach you ways to ACE your interview and give you the confidence and your self-esteem to handle anything which comes your way.
English for children
I have been passionately teaching kids from 3-12 yrs of age. I have created my own materials and I am sure they'll love it!
