About Finn

Hi! I am an experienced Spanish tutor with over 7 years of teaching college students, and my lessons are designed to make Spanish accessible, practical, and enjoyable. My teaching style is interactive, student-centred, and flexible, allowing learners to progress at their own pace while using methods that suit them best.

I use modern teaching methods, including digital tools, multimedia exercises, conversation practice, role-playing, games, and real-life scenarios, to make grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation more approachable and effective.

I also include cultural lessons, giving students insight into Spanish-speaking countries, their traditions, and everyday language. My goal is to help students gain fluency, build confidence, and develop practical communication skills, while enjoying a motivating and supportive learning environment.

About the lesson

I teach Spanish using a methodology built around motivation, communication, creativity, and time management to ensure students achieve fluency, confidence, and enjoyment. Motivation is the foundation of my approach; I inspire students by making lessons relevant, interesting, and aligned with their personal goals and interests.

Communication is central; I help students practise speaking, listening, reading, and writing through interactive exercises, practical conversations, and real-life applications to build fluency and comprehension. Creativity makes lessons lively and memorable—I incorporate storytelling, games, role-plays, music, videos, and cultural activities to make learning fun. Time management is essential; I help students plan practice, structure study sessions, and set achievable goals for consistent progress.

Beyond Spanish, I teach complementary subjects such as grammar, vocabulary development, conversation skills, and cultural awareness, providing a holistic learning experience. My lessons are interactive, practical, and designed to help students achieve long-term success.
