About Gabrielle
I am a Bachelor of Secondary Education student at the Queensland University of Technology, double majoring in Biology and Geography. I achieved an OP3 (approx. ATAR 96.5) result and VHA (A standard) results in all of my year 12 subjects. I have had many years of casual tutoring for junior high school students, but I am looking forward to the challenge of upper high school students in my specialty area. As opposed to other tutors, I am able to communicate my knowledge for my subject area through teaching methods studied in my degree and professional experience.

My teaching method is to explain the content in real life terms, or in a way that my client will understand it based on what he/she is already knowledgeable in. For example, if a child's hobby is basketball then parabolas can be explained using the markings on a court. I never give up on a student, and will spend hours preparing the right content until they are happy with their results.

My travel rate depends on the km required to travel and petrol costs and the hourly rate is dependent on preparation time (e.g. reading assignments etc.)
