I'm Pieter, a qualified English teacher with internationally recognised TEFL and TESOL certifications, including a Level 5 TEFL qualification, a 250-hour Diploma in TESOL, and an OTHM Level 6 Diploma in Teaching and Learning. I also bring over 40 years of professional experience in engineering, business, project management, and adult training.
I specialise in helping adults improve their English for work, travel, interviews, studies, and everyday communication. Every lesson is tailored to your goals, whether you want to build confidence, improve fluency, expand your vocabulary, or strengthen your grammar and pronunciation.
My teaching style is patient, practical, and conversational. I create a relaxed environment where you can speak confidently from the very first lesson and develop your skills at your own pace.
As a speaker of English, Afrikaans, and Portuguese, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and explain English in a clear, supportive, and encouraging way.
