About Demi
I am a warm, caring and supportive tutor, and a qualified primary teacher with over 10 years’ experience. I am passionate about helping children grow in confidence, feel proud of their progress and begin to believe in themselves as learners. I take time to get to know each child, build positive relationships and identify their individual areas for development. I then support learning through small, manageable steps. I also understand the importance of working closely with parents, so children feel supported both during lessons and beyond.

My tutoring approach is calm, supportive and tailored to each child. I take time to understand their current confidence, strengths and areas for development, then plan lessons that feel clear, focused and encouraging.
I use a mix of modelling, guided practice, questioning and short activities to help children build understanding step by step. Lessons can support English, phonics, reading, writing and maths, depending on the child’s needs.
Lessons are suitable for children from Nursery to Year 6, with sessions adapted to their age, stage and learning goals.
