About Grace
Originally from Manchester, I’ve been living in Australia for the past year and a half and have had the privilege of working in schools across the UK, Spain, Italy, and now the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. I hold a degree in Education with a specialization in Special Educational Needs, as well as a postgraduate PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status. I’m also Montessori trained and passionate about inclusive, child-centered learning. Outside the classroom, I’m an animal lover, avid reader, and keen traveler. I especially love exploring the natural world—marine life fascinates me, and I enjoy any chance to be near the ocean. These interests often inspire my teaching, as I love bringing real-world wonder and creativity in my lessons.

I'm a fun, creative tutor with a strong foundation in phonics and literacy. I personalise each lesson based on students’ needs and interests, helping them feel confident and engaged. I specialise in creative writing, reading intervention, and inclusion support. Lessons typically run for 45–60 minutes and are designed for students aged 6–15. With a PGCE, QTS, and nine years of experience in education, I use a variety of hands-on, evidence-based strategies to ensure progress while nurturing a love of learning.
