About Sarah

I have taught English for 7 years in an excellent local secondary school before leaving to spend more time with family. I trained as a primary teacher and have tutored primary and secondary pupils since 1997 with great success. Pupils typically achieve 1-2 grades higher than predicted in GCSEs.

About the lesson

I aim to both support pupils and to stretch them to achieve their very best. I revisit vocabulary and topics regularly and use a variety of teaching techniques, tailored to individual needs to promote confidence in speaking, listening , reading and writing as required.
