About Sonam

I am a qualified language teacher with over a decade of experience in language training. I hold a Master's degree in Teaching. Whether you are preparing for language proficiency exams, seeking to improve your conversational skills, or simply interested in learning a new language for personal or professional development, I can design lessons to meet your specific needs and interests.

About the lesson

My approach revolves around creating an engaging and interactive learning experience tailored to each student's needs and learning style.
Here's how I typically structure my lessons:

1. Assessment and Goal Setting: I start by assessing the student's current proficiency level and understanding their learning objectives. This helps me tailor the lessons to their specific needs and goals.

2. Interactive Learning: I incorporate various interactive activities such as role-plays, games, discussions, and multimedia resources to keep the learning experience dynamic and enjoyable.

3. Customized Curriculum: Based on the assessment and goals, I develop a customized curriculum that covers all language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. I also focus on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural aspects relevant to the language.

4. Feedback and Improvement: I provide timely feedback on the student's performance, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement. I also encourage self-assessment and reflection to foster continuous learning.

5. Utilization of Technology: I leverage language learning apps, interactive online platforms, virtual classrooms, and multimedia resources to supplement traditional teaching methods.

A typical lesson plan may include:

Warm-up activity to activate prior knowledge or introduce new vocabulary.
Main instructional segment focusing on a specific language skill or topic.
Practice exercises to reinforce learning objectives.
Interactive activities such as role-plays, discussions, or games.
Wrap-up session to review key concepts and provide feedback.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my personalized approach, adaptability, and commitment to student success. I understand that every student is unique, so I tailor my teaching style and materials to suit individual learning preferences and goals. Additionally, I continuously seek feedback from students to improve my teaching methods and ensure their needs are met.

My lessons are suitable for learners of all levels, from beginners to advanced proficiency.
