About Atika
I am a qualified teacher with over five years' experience teaching ESOL, GCSE English, IELTS preparation classes, and English Functional Skills. I have taught both adults and teenagers. I believe students just need the right kind of motivation to make progress in their learning. English doesn't need to be difficult. You just need the right teacher to guide you through it.
My qualifications:
PGCE in Post Compulsory Education (English and ESOL specialism) from UCL Institute of Education
BA in English and History from Queen Mary University of London

In the first lesson, I will test your current level of English in all four skills. We will then come up with a learning plan together for you to work towards over the course of our lessons. I structure my lessons so that they cover all four skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. My lessons also focus on key grammar to help you develop accuracy with your spoken and written English.
