About Rebecca
I am a Qualified Teacher of English Language and Literature, and I love my subject! I feel very passionately about helping students to achieve their potential and have had a tremendous amount of success in doing so. But it's not just about the exam results, however important they may be! I aim to inspire confidence in the students that I teach so that they are able to go forward into sixth form or Higher Education feeling secure in not only their knowledge and skills, but also in themselves. I am a Qualified Teacher with a PGCE in English and Qualified Teacher Status. I hold a BA Hons in English Literature from the University of Birmingham and have taught both in the British and International systems. With my teaching experience both in the classroom and online, I have learnt how to teach English from a student-centred approach. This means that all lessons will be personalised to your needs. I am able to teach specific styles of writing and exam techniques that will ensure that you are able to make the most out of the time available to you in the exam room. Lessons available for GCSE, IGCSE and IB English Language and Literature. Lessons available for A-Level English Literature. Typically each lesson will be an hour long, and homework will be set for the following session and marked online.

He loved his lessons with Bex . She is an exceptional tutor.Rebecca provided the exact approach, techniques and positive energy required to succeed in English GCSE. Having previously sought help from other teachers and tutors, Rebecca brought a method for both papers, in particular the essay questions, which was easy to understand and totally transformed the way my son approached the questions. After only a few lessons my son's confidence was significantly improved and thankfully resulted in a successful outcome!
