About Tilly
I have been giving language lessons for six years now. I completed my PGCE in Secondary school Spanish and French at Bath University, and then worked in secondary schools in London for four years. In August 2017 I decided to move to Barcelona to work as an English teacher, while living in Barcelona I was able to continue developing my knowledge of the Spanish language and culture and now I am excited to be back in the UK to share my knowledge and experience to help others in developing their Spanish skills.
I have taught groups and individuals of a mix of levels and ages in various situations, from relaxed conversational classes to structured and intense exam preparation classes. I am proud to say that my students always make excellent progress with their languages.

Having lived in Barcelona this year and taught Spanish at secondary schools for five years, I not only have an excellent knowledge of the language but also of the national curriculum and public exams. I can offer lessons to students of all ages and abilities. Having experience teaching languages to adults, I can also offer lessons to anyone who is wanting to pick up a new language or to brush up on their skills.
My teaching style is friendly and professional; I plan well structured and enjoyable lessons so that you can have fun while also making excellent progress! I can plan lessons to tailor to your needs and wishes or you can bring any questions or topics which you would like to go over and I can support you in achieving your goals.
