About Zowie
I am passionate about teaching and learning and making a positive difference to the lives of the children that I teach. This is something that I have wanted to do since I was at school too. My teacher inspired me to write and enjoy reading and I aim to do the same too.
I have much experience of supporting children both individually and as a group to make good progress and attainment and enjoy their learning too.
I am a mum to two daughters, Phoebe (15) and Jasmine (11), whom I dote on. I am a positive person, who works hard and likes to learn new things . I am also a newly published children's author and illustrator too. Writing my own book was always something that I have always wanted to do too. I believe that all children have the potential to reach for the stars.

I will plan and prepare lessons to meet your child's learning style and needs effectively. I have a passion and wide range of knowledge around children's literature, and have used this to enable children to improve their reading and writing skills in an enjoyable and creative way. Lessons can be arranged for 30mins to 1hour depending on age and needs.
I am a qualified teacher with experience of teaching abroad for 3 months in Athens and in 8 different schools.
I have the most experience of teaching KS2 children (ages 7-11) but have taught Y2 children to prepare them for their KS1 SATs.
